SERVE OTHERS
At SCF we partner with local organizations to serve those in need in the greater Shirley area. We extend the love of Christ to others through acts of mercy, biblical council and encouragement, and most of all, the gospel of Jesus Christ.
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of our church body is to glorify God (Ephesians 3:21), and in obedience to Him, strive to win the lost, and edify and strengthen believers for effectual service.
THE BIBLE
2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (ESV)
OUR MISSION
OUR VISION
We believe in God's "Grace and Truth Working Together”, as declared in John 1:14, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” We desire to live this out practically in our day to day lives.
BIBLE STUDY
Regular Bible study with other followers of Christ helps deepen our relationship with God and with others. We have many options to study God's Word including men's and women's Bible studies, as well as the Alpha Course and others.
YOUTH GROUP
SCF Youth meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm for games and a relatable Bible lesson, followed by snacks and small group discussion. We always end our time together with prayer.

We desire to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ locally, nationally and globally. Our guiding verse is to “Love god, love others, and make disciples” as declared in Matthew 22:37-39 and Matthew 28:18-20.
